Hokusai06 Under the Fukagawa Mannen-Bridge(深川万年橋下) / Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji (富嶽三十六景) by Katsushika Hokusai
Fukagawa Mannen (myriad year) bridge spans the point where the Onagi-river(canal that Ieyasu Tokugawa ordered to Shirobe Onagi to excavated in around 1590) that flows in Edo Fukagawa joins Sumidagawa.
The building of both shores is drawn by the seeing through perspective of the West style of painting.
The arc and the bridge girder in the arched bridge where the both shores are connected produce a geometrical composition.
Fuji soars in the other side of the bridge girder when you see the direction that bows of the ship in this side indicate.
