Hokusai10 Shimo-Meguro (下目黒) / Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji (富嶽三十六景) by Katsushika Hokusai

Hokusai drew the foothill in Meguro where ups and downs were abundant in this work.

Meguro was a place of the hawk hunting of the general in Edo period, and a farm area, too.

The farmer is kneeling to the hawker who keeps samurai's hawk.

A position system at that time and social conditions are reflected.

Fuji is seen far away much.
